The CVE Foundation has stepped up to ensure the CVE Program not only survives—but evolves. As an independent, nonprofit organization backed by community and industry stakeholders, the Foundation is committed to:
- Preserving the integrity and trust the CVE system has earned over decades
- Expanding global collaboration and contributor engagement
- Modernizing the vulnerability tracking process with open governance and transparency
This shift represents an opportunity to make CVE more agile, inclusive, and scalable—qualities the security industry desperately needs.
